Senior officials of  the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone (ECSL) have engaged the press at the weekly government press briefing hosted at the Ministry of Information and Communications, 8th floor at Youyi Building in Freetown, to bring them up to speed on the just concluded exhibition exercise which is considered a critical step in the electoral process.

The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Water Resources in partnership with the African Development Bank, African Water Facility and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, has on Thursday 8th December 2022 held a  one day  Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Donor Investment  Conference at the new Brookfields Hotel in Freetown, on the theme, “improving access to safe clean water supply and sanitation  in the Western Area”.

UADF Sierra Leone Delegation Visits Dodoma On Benchmark Study

A delegation from the Universal Access Development Fund (UADF) in Sierra Leone, has visited the Head office of the Universal Communications Service Fund (ACSAF) in Dodoma, the New Capital City of Tanzania Republic, to gain knowledge that can be used for the development and transformation of rural connectivity in Sierra Leone. Digital technology has vastly  improved in Sierra Leone in the past four years, under the leadership of the New Direction Government of His Excellency, Dr. Julius Maada Bio. The UADF project is hosted in the Ministry of Information and Communications, under the supervision of the Minister of Information and Communications, Hon Mohamed Rahman Swaray.

A 2-day CSO and Media Retreat organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications on the theme "CONSOLIDATING DEMOCRACY: OUR COLLECTIVE, SHARED AND PATRIOTIC RESPONSIBILITY" has ended on a high note in Kenema City. The retreat, which was the third in a series, was held on the 25th-26th November 2022, at the Kenema City Hall. Over 250 participants from across Sierra Leone were in attendance.
