The Principal Legal Consultant in the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lahai Momoh Farmah, on Thursday 11th March 2021, updated the media on the status of implementation of the Government White Paper at the weekly government press briefing in the conference room of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The Director General of the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), Ansu S. Tucker, has disclosed to journalists at the weekly government press briefing in the conference room of the Ministry of Information and Communications on Thursday, 25th February 2021, that government through HRMO recruited 3,798 (Three Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety Eight) Civil Servants in 2020, most of them medical personnel, as a way of addressing youth unemployment in the country.

Minister of Lands and Country Planning, Dr. Turad Senesie, has said that his first priority at the helm of affairs is to undertake reforms in the ministry by creating separate Directorates of Housing and Planning and also digitizing all their operations.

The Minister of Transport and Aviation, Kabineh Kallon, officially announced that the Sierra Leone Road Transport Corporation (SLRTC) has transitioned from a public transport operator to a public transport regulatory authority and will henceforth become the Sierra Leone Public Transport Authority (SLPTA).

The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Hon. Emma Kowa Jalloh,  informed journalists that vessels which usually cause danger to the sea and its stock have been refused license to operate in the country.
