World Photography Day is celebrated every year on the 19th August. This year, the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Sierra Leone Union of Photographers, commemorated the day in Port Loko city on the 18-19 August 2021. The celebration was more of a reflection on photography so far, and a look into the future of the profession. The theme for this year's commemoration is "COVID-19 Through the Lens".
