A 2-day CSO and Media Retreat organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications on the theme "CONSOLIDATING DEMOCRACY: OUR COLLECTIVE, SHARED AND PATRIOTIC RESPONSIBILITY" has ended on a high note in Kenema City. The retreat, which was the third in a series, was held on the 25th-26th November 2022, at the Kenema City Hall. Over 250 participants from across Sierra Leone were in attendance.

Sierra Leone's Minister of Information and Communications, Hon. Mohamed Rahman Swarray has graced and opened a National Consultative Meeting on the Draft New Legal and Regulatory Framework to Govern the Digital Economy in West Africa. The ceremony attracted a host of participants from various other ministries, departments and agencies including a representative from the ECOWAS Commission.  

Sierra Leone's Minister of Gender and Children's Affairs has said that the Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Law is a manifesto fulfilment of His Excellency the President, Rtd. Brg. Julius Maada Bio. Madam Manty Tarawallie was speaking during the weekly government press briefing which was hosted at the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, 4th floor at Youyi Building in Freetown. 

As the First National Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Fair ever organized in Sierra Leone concludes at the Freetown International Conference Centre Aberdeen Freetown, the Vice President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, has revealed that the stage is now set for the first ever National Apprenticeship Programme to commence. The three-day event, which concluded on the 17th of November 2022, brought together over 500 young Sierra Leoneans from across the sixteen districts.
